In conjunction with Queer Politics @ Princeton University, we are hosting a panel of women from across the world to discuss the experience of being an openly bi/pan parliamentarian, April 22, 5pm (UK GMT).
Despite the fact that the bi/pan woman share of the LGBTQ community is the largest and quickest growing segment, examples of role-models in public office are few and far between. There are only 11 bi/pan women parliamentarians in office in the world today (and have only been 16 in history).
Our webinar panel will address the challenges and opportunities that bi/pan women parliamentarians face.
Panellists will include:
Katie Hill (former Rep. CA25 USA)
Senator Annie Hoey (Ireland)
Senator Sarah McBride (Delaware)
Nadia Whittome MP (Nottingham East, UK)
